The Canadian Academy of Legal Studies in Business (CALSB) is excited to announce their 2025 conference in Quebec, QC!
CALSB invites you to its annual conference to be held in the historic Quebec City, Quebec on May 2 - 4, 2025.
Our conference will be held at the historic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in the heart of Quebec City. You will be steps away from the St. Lawrence River and some of the best French cuisine in Canada.
We have made arrangements with the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, blocking several rooms for our conference guests at a fantastic, discounted rate of only $349 CAD per night. The discounted rate is only available until April 2, 2025.

The reception, two breakfasts , two lunches and CALSB membership fee are included in the registration fee. Members are responsible for booking their own rooms and any corresponding incidental fees. As noted, above, block rates are only available until April 2, 2025.
The final conference schedule will be provided on the website and emailed to participants. We will have an evening reception on May 2, a full day on May 3, and a half day on May 4.

CALSB Executive Teams
Call for Papers, Presentations and Panels: We welcome submissions and invite presentations or panels from participants. Your papers, panels, or presentations could cover any field of research concerning business law or the pedagogy of business law. Papers are not required to present at the conference.
Publication Opportunities: Completed papers are not required at the conference. However, this conference offers participants a paper development opportunity where papers can be presented via a workshop format, and where the submission and potential publication of a paper in The Review of Enterprise and Trade Law (formerly the Asper Review and the Desautels Review), an imprint of the peer-reviewed, open access Manitoba Law Journal is available. Papers must be submitted to the journal by July 1, 2025 for timely publication.
Distinguished Paper Deadline: The deadline for paper submissions (to be considered for the Distinguished Paper award) is midnight, April 19, 2025. Additional papers may be submitted after that date but will not be considered for the award. We also welcome presentations (with or without paper).
